I enjoyed woodworking all my life!! After graduating from High School I went to work for my Dad in the construction business building Custom Homes in our area. Looking back you can't find a harder boss to work for and those times even though tough are some of my dearest moments of my life.

Now in retirement and my Dad's passing a few years ago I look forward to getting my hands back on some wood and building those things I always could envision in the homes we built!!

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Tables You Can Make, from the editors of Woodworker's Journal

I have just recently joined the online group of Fine Woodworking and am looking forward to being a part of the other side of Fine Woodworking as I have always enjoyed reading the articles in the magazine. I built a table for our family when I was much younger and would enjoyed building my daughters a more contemporary piece of furniture.

Re: Book Giveaway: Furniture Restoration - Step-by-Step Tips and Techniques for Professional Results

Both me and my wife love restoring old furniture as we purchase our first piece some 35 years ago. We both have been self taught in resoration of all our projects and it would be nice to have some good references to look at and find where we could improve on our projects!!
