Re: Innovative Way to Carry Lumber in a Car

When you're poor you've got to improvise, be it Moscow, India or San Francisco. I've carried a 16' 2x6 on my motorcycle, resting on the handlebars and my shoulder, tied to my body with rope so it wouldn't slip off. Not sure of the rope type or knots..:) I only do stuff like this early in the morning, right when the lumberyard opens and the streets are quiet.
