A great material for jigs and mock ups. I've also used mdf for "little use" furniture that doesn't get moved a lot. I built a speaker box for a boom box in a car--heavy as heck but the kid loved it. Fine woodworking? no way.

Had to go to Rockler with my wife to pick out the router table I wanted--Son thinks I know nothing about it so I have been practicing my "surprise" look in the mirror. I will reinforce the rafters this summer so Santa's sleigh can deliver a new band saw next year. Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!

how about all the jigs we build from published plans; should we as permission before we build them?
