Re: CPSC Drafting New Tablesaw Regulations

Regardless of fault, regardless of our responsibility for our own safety, the reality is that when one person is injured he or she is whisked to the ER and we ALL pay, as taxpayers and/or with health insurance premiums. I do not know about any other taxpayers out there, but I prefer NOT to pay more in taxes and premiums.

Re: UPDATE: Why We Make Things and Why It Matters: The Education of a Craftsman by Peter Korn

I do not claim to be the paragon of creativity, but I have noticed that persons who are intellectually curious have a desire or better yet, a need to create and from what I have observed this transcends any particular field, even if not all fields. A woodworker may also enjoy creating music or painting or cooking and vice versa. The absence of a passion for creating equates to an absence of a passion for life.

Re: UPDATE: Google SketchUp Guide for Woodworkers - The Basics with Dave Richards

Sketchup is very handy but difficult to master. I purchased the online version for woodworkers and added to my fund of knowledge. I think a simpler, easier referenced resource would be a great addition.

Re: Special Announcement - My Book on SketchUp

Sorry, that did not work. Do you recommend that I start all over?

Re: Special Announcement - My Book on SketchUp
