Re: UPDATE: Why We Make Things and Why It Matters: The Education of a Craftsman by Peter Korn

I do not claim to be the paragon of creativity, but I have noticed that persons who are intellectually curious have a desire or better yet, a need to create and from what I have observed this transcends any particular field, even if not all fields. A woodworker may also enjoy creating music or painting or cooking and vice versa. The absence of a passion for creating equates to an absence of a passion for life.

Re: UPDATE: Google SketchUp Guide for Woodworkers - The Basics with Dave Richards

Sketchup is very handy but difficult to master. I purchased the online version for woodworkers and added to my fund of knowledge. I think a simpler, easier referenced resource would be a great addition.

Re: Special Announcement - My Book on SketchUp

Sorry, that did not work. Do you recommend that I start all over?

Re: Special Announcement - My Book on SketchUp

Almost done with the magazine rack. I am unable to push back the stopped rabbets for the top and bottom. The partitions and sides were easy, but when I selected the push/pull icon all of the top turned blue. I am referencing step 16, page 35.
