used left over parallam beam ends and poplar. top is hypertufa concrete.

a bagel/bially cutter. made from parallam beam ends and scrap ipe from a marina dock project.

not the standard trestle table, but the arched horizontals fit the definition.

the top is one inch thick. steel would "window pane" through. concrete this small and thin could be poured with mortar, cement and sand. i used sand, cement and peat moss..which replaces gravel. looks more like stone than concrete. rich mix and plasticizer to reduce water and its tough stuff.

i find that after noodling on it for way too long,lots of sketchs..i just get started and my hands tell what to do. beautiful piece.

im glad to see someone else using this material. turning it would be a challenge.
