my new workbench.  all very nice hard maple with slow consistent growth.  some boards had 30 growth rings per inch.  Frank Klausz style tail vise with ipe runners.  twin screw...

claro walnut chest of drawers.  drawers of hard maple with douglas fir bottoms and made NK style.  Macassar ebony pulls and stand.

I used the Frank Klausz plans in the Workbench Book as guidance, but I didn't follow them exactly. I wanted to make a tail vise with wooden guides and I think the way it's done on the Klausz bench is one of the better ways to do it.

hell of a job Clarkito. Hope you're doing incredibly great. It looks really nice I really like the choice of woods and the simple design.
