Re: Nora Hall, 1922-2011

A very talented carver and an inspiration to both men and women carvers, she will be missed.

Re: Spirits of the Forest Grandfather clock

Wow, very impressive, you did a beautiful job and I love the design and the fact that it's all "hand" carved. Thanks for sharing.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Wharton Esherick Studio & Collection

His work is inspirational and I would love to add this book to my library. Thank you for this opportunity.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Tree Craft by Chris Lubkemann

I love working with wood and I especially enjoy rustic wood creations. I'm always looking for new ideas, so this book is of great interest to me. Sure hope I win!
Thanks for the opportunity.

Re: Karyl's Hill Country shop

Looks like a great design, especially your use of doors. I was wondering what your overall dimensions are?

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Made By Hand by Tom Fidgen

I've been a member of this website for a few years now and find it to be a very valuable woodworking tool. Like most woodworkers I own my share of power tools, but I love the peace and quiet that I get when I use hand tools. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this book giveaway.

Re: iPad and Woodworking?

I have an ipod touch and love it. The screen a little small for reading, but the iPad looks like it takes care of that problem. I don't think I'd run out and buy it just yet, I'll hang back a little and wait a year for the updated model. It's a very exciting product and I look forward to seeing it soon.

Re: Are CNC machines ready for Fine Woodworking?

Is Fine Woodworking ready for CNC?
I think that CNC should be viewed as a tool that could be used to help release our creative and artistic designs. It should fall in the same category as our other power tools.
