Dave,
posted: 5:06 am on February 15thI've been eagerly following the Jefferson bookstand projects since Naomi's initial posting. I was hooked immediately. Watching you build it in Sketchup has answered any nagging questions I had. Can't thank you enough for doing this. I'm ready to start cutting boards. Autumn

I typed "free plan handplane book" into the search bar, it took me to a link, and that link brought me back here. Still no way to download it. What's up?

Too cool! I love this -- a secret compartment right on top. I've been thinking how innovative the concept is and wish there were more photos posted. The wood selections and finish are quite complementary.

Beautiful work. I especially like the alternating inlays on the door. Please let us know what woods and types of veneers you used.

I, too, purchased some Cuban mahogany from Mark Butler. He was very helpful in trying to put just the right wood in my hands--wood I would be happy with. I'm still waiting for delivery, but my fingers are already itching.

Tasteful, handsome, graceful, superbly executed -- not enough adjectives in the English language to express this amazing work. I am constantly amazed at what a person can do with one 12/4 board. You have defined what many of us hope to achieve.
