Grandfather clock
This is my first attempt at building a grandfather clock. It is made from white oak and finished with fruitwood stain and hand rubbed tung oil. It stands 88" tall.

Looks really nice Dave. I just finished my first one a couple weeks ago. It's not as fancy as yours but I plan on making my next one more elaborate. Did you turn the spindels yourself?

This is truely a sad day for the Maloof family and wood working community. Sam touched so many lives during his life and has been an inspiration to all wood workers. He may be gone in body but his spirit, inspiration and impact he made on the wood working community will live on forever. He is a true icon and his legacy will live on long after we are all gone.

Nice job. I am a huge David Marks fan and this is one of his pieces I have always wanted to make. It is creaping to the top of the list so maybe I can get started on it soon.
