Johnny Vee's Little Short Shop & Sawdust Emporium

My shop has as many mobile machines and tables as possible to accomodate whatever work comes into it. I have a 10" tablesaw, 14" bandsaw, 6" jointer, lathe, 13" planer, benchtop mortiser, 17" drill...

Re: UPDATE: DVD Giveaway: Fine Woodworking 2011 Annual Collection

That is a great prize. Since I already get the full archive, if I win, I will donate it to my local Woodworkers Guild library.

Re: UPDATE: Fine Woodstrip Canoe Building from Bear Mountain Boats

Coming from a long line of shipwright's, of which I'm sadly not one, winning this would be strangely appropriate.

Cheers.

Re: UPDATE: Using Your Router and Router Table Safely by Hendrik Varju

Sweet!! Hendrik's training DVDs are fantastic and would be a fabulous addition to my collection...not to mention adding a bit more Candian content wouldn't hurt.

Thanks for the chance at winning it.
Cheers

Re: UPDATE: 2011 Fine Woodworking Archive DVD-ROM (1975 - 2011)

That would be an awesome addition to my library. Wish me luck ... Good luck. ;^)

Re: UPDATE: Building Small Cabinets by Doug Stowe

Looks like a great one. Please count me in.

Re: Some times it seems so small but I get things done

I hear you Bob. I'm in the same boat but I would kill for the amount of headroom you have...the joys of a basement shop in a 97 year old house. You'd think they planned to just send the shortest members of the family down there. Sigh.

Great shop and thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: 4 "issues" of The Missing Shop Manual series

These would a a great addition to my collection! I have a few of the others in the series but not one of those up for grabs. What can I say but "Pick me!".

Re: Split Top Roubo Workbench

Hey Chuck
Fabulous looking bench! Ok, now I'm jealous. LOL
Seriously, it is a great bit of woodworking and you should be proud.

Re: UPDATE Caption contest: Win a CommandMax Sprayer

There, there. I won't let that mean old hand tool galoot touch you again. You're mine. All mine.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Acanthus Carving and Design by Bob Yorburg & Hans Sandom, Illustrator

Looks like a great book. It would look even better on my book shelf, don't you think?

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Hand Planes in the Modern Shop by Kerry Pierce

This looks like what the wood doctor ordered! I would love to add this to my collection.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Fundamentals of Model Boat Building by John Into and Nancy Price

My shipwright Grandfather left me a model squRe rigged ship which I have yet to complete. Winning this tome might be just the push I need to get started on building it. Here's to hoping!

Cheers

Re: UPDATE: Back to Basics: Fundamentals of Sharpening from Fox Chapel Publishing

I have several of these Back to Basics books. BUT I don't have this one. Hope luck smiles on me...

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Back to Basics: Setting Up Your Workshop from Fox Chapel Publishing

I've got a couple of the other "Back to Basics" books and they are really very good. This one would feel right at home in my collection with a couple of its siblings. ;^)

Thanks for the chance to generate this "family reunion".

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: 1st five "issues" of The Missing Shop Manual series

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: 500 Tables (Updated with winner)

Hmmm, let's see, router, wood...I know I'm forgetting something. What would Norm do?

Re: Chris Nilluka, Small Beaverton Oregon Shop

Great shop and I do sympathize with the size as my shop has similar issues...you work with what you have.

I noticed the Rigid 14" bandsaw and the green riser block. Are you using the Grizzly riser block kit? Just curious because I have got one but haven't yet installed it (the Rigid one was just too bloody expensive and is exactly the same except for the green paint).

Did I make the deadline?

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Shop Drawings for Greene & Greene Furniture by Robert W. Lang

I have an 1917 Arts & Crafts style home and this book would be a great thing to have... please put me into the draw.
