Yes. I agree with the last comment; hopefully someone who could otherwise not purchase it, wins.

Thank you for these contests.

Re: UPDATE: Building Doors & Drawers by Andy Rae

Re: AWFS Tool Update: Rikon Pours its Best Bandsaw Features into a Super Saw

I have the MiniMax E16 and it appears that Rikon has "borrowed" heavily from its design (I don't mean that perjoritavely, just an observation).

My E16 has been an OUTSTANDING machine with great MM design and service.

Wish Rikon luck. Good to see they continue to attempt to improve. We all benefit from that competitive spirit!

Re: Shakashima Media Cabinet

Very nice design and execution. As to your finish, can you tell me the schedule? Was it shellac first and then the oil/urethane or otherwise. Also, what oil/urethane did you use? It looks very "in-the-wood" which is a nice change from the urethane I usually see.

Re: Shangrila Rocker

Really cool interpretation of Sam . . .

Re: Carved door plaque

Nice work. I really like the lettering and would be interested to learn your method for getting it so crisp!

Re: Cocobolo Conference Table

That is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Wood Finishing Fixes by Michael Dresdner

Sign me up . . . and in. I'm no finishing expert-that's why I need Dresdner!

Re: Ash & Walnut Jewelry Chest

Excellent craftsmanship. I really admire the design and choice of wood. Great piece.

Re: Poll: The Next FWW Tool Test

I agree with the other posters. This list of tools is quite tired in this, and other, magazines. It's all been done, and done and done before (many quite recently I might add . . .)

What about a review of European combo machines? Though a smaller audience of owners, It is one area that gets very little coverage in any of the magazines. Since the last time you covered the area, the machines have changed considerably.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Early American Country Furniture

Would LOVE the book . . .

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: The New Complete Guide to the Band Saw

I've seen Mark's work before on the bandsaw, so I'm sure this book is a winner! I'd love to have it.

Re: Abigale (curved dovetail box)

Very nice looking joinery and work! Great job.

Re: wall cabinet

Mike, You are an incredible craftsman and designer. I have always enjoyed viewing your work and articles/reviews -- this piece is no exception. What a testament to pride in good ol' American workmanship. Cudos.
