Ryobi was lucky the lawsuit was not on the west coast or the award would probably be ten times that amount. I can' say that Boston awards are much better than the west coast. The guy probably cut himself on purpose, what's the cost of a finger or two compared to $1.5 million. My wife wanted me to buy the Saw Stop and I bought a Delta instead, so I am extra careful but if I get cut, it will be my stupidity, not Delta's.
