My advice to you is to start the project now. Do it one piece at a time, be very patient. If you make a mistake, do the part over. You may have to do something over multiple times. Just enjoy the ride and don't worry how long it takes. Determine to finish it 100%. Along the way if you have to stop to make some tooling, do that. Just keep moving forward. Otherwise it will never happen.
