Beautiful! I really enjoy your choice to orient the grain vertically and let it just flow over the top - truly delightful. I'm curious about your use of Siberian elm for the underlayers. I have recently harvested a Siberian elm and know almost nothing about it's workability and assets. What has your experience with it been?
