Tex raised the question about rubbing (or sanding) thought the layers of applied polyurethane and creating witness marks. I had this problem using the General product when I sanded between coats, and I imagine a similar result with MinWax wiping poly.
Is this an inherent problem with polyurethane that should indicate it perhaps isn't appropriate for fine furniture, or was I just to agressive in sanding?

I use computers and electronic devices all day long in my day job, and my personal time is better spent away from the screen and keyboard. Chasing the newest electronic technology seems to me to be a no-win effort - just when you purchase something it becomes replaced with a newer, faster model that also has a short shelf life.
Don't get me wrong, I too look at things online (like the FWW site) and make use of electronics to make my life easier, but still like time away from the technology for my hobby time.

glad you saved the event so we could see later. sound quality was a little challenging - but otherwise interesting.
