Greene and Greene Inspired Night Stand

I've always been attracted to the Greene and Greene style. Every corner is rounded over. Pegs are square. Handles are completely unique. Not one single joint finishes smooth with the next. Every corner offers the opportunity to run your fingers over...revealing detail after detail. It provides a nice challenge.

While working in a kitchen cabinet manufacturer I found that offcuts of up to 1 3/4 inch were being cut to fireplace length.  So instead of wasting all this wood I decided to build a credenza...

Being in the Greene and Greene style I find that your detailing is not too much, but rather appropriate. I love your bridle joint. As well, your pegs all look clean and crisp. They protrude at a pleasing height. I think you did a heck of a job. Good work!
