Piecrust Tea Table
I've always been impressed with the details of a piecrust tea table, but never felt like it was in my skill level. Then one day I bought the book "Making a Piecrust Tea Table," by Tom Heller...

Re: Defense Outgunned in Osorio Tablesaw Lawsuit
I am so tired of people blaming someone else for their own stupidity. If the saw had malfunctioned, like the arbor broke and the blade came out and did some damage then sue the manufacture for a faulty saw but when it does exactly what it was intended to do, "cut what you feed into the blade" how can it be the manufactures fault? It's not the governments responsibility to make sure you don't do something stupid. Same goes for every one else, when will the general public start being accountable for their own actions?

I absolutely love everything about your tables except the inlay, I especially like the corners.

I've never had any interest in boat building till I saw your shop. I hope you will post a lot of pics as the boat progresses, including drawings and templates and if I might be so bold as request an invite to visit during the build that would be as cool as it gets. Thanks for posting.

SO, he admits that the blade guard and the splitter and the fence were removed, hmmm, whose to say he wouldn't have disabled the "flesh sensing technology" also. If you don't use your common sense and the guards that are there for a reason then you take on the risk of getting injured. And whats with the jury saying he was 35% responsible and then giving him six times what he asked for. I'm so disgusted with the court system, I don't believe that its being used as it was originally intended. They've opened up a can of worms with this one and we the woodworkers are going to pay for it with higher priced tools and less selection.

"Spectacular" The picture probably doesn't do the piece justice, they never do. I hope your son realizes what a cool gift that you have given him. My kids have grown up with it and I don't think, at this point anyway, that they understand that not everyones dad just goes out in the shop and builds them a bed or dresser or whatever they need. Not that I've ever built anything as awsome as your chest.

Beautiful, The bracket feet are um I don't know, would "sexy" be out of line? I love them. I like how you dovetailed the carcus together and then left them visible, I know that its the way it was done but I never had the guts to do it like that I was always affraid people wouldnt understand, I guess it would be my responsibility to educate.
posted: 11:38 pm on September 9thI do have a question though, Did you intentionally leave the bail up on the left side of the second and third drawers? I've seen this done often in pictures, is it just an oops?
Re: Chippendale Arm Chair in cherry
I love the scalloped edge of the upholstery, I have never seen it done like that. The carvings are sweet. Great job.
