I built this credenza to house some books from some incredibly curly Birdseye Maple veneer and solids with curly Mahogany frames. The lower panels were veneered with a mystery wood found in my veneer...

Re: How to Use Bamboo for Fine Furniture

I've used large bamboo stalks, split in half on the bandsaw, for the trim around the doors and windows and bar top in my home theater. I'd like to use some in furniture or flooring. I hear it's very durable and does look pretty good.
