I crafted these tables for my daughter-in-law. She set design limits for dimensions, 'use a dark wood', and asked for me to 'design something remarkable'. I liked the idea of a cabriole leg pierceing...

You certainly accomplished your goals for this piece, Robert. This is an excellent design with outstanding workmanship. I love the contrast between the natural wood top and the ebonized support. And marble wedges, too! Great mix of media.
