Made from a single plank of Honduran Mahogany. It required 40 separate turnings. Final size of the object is 13" x 22". I Got the inspiration for it from a piece by Terry Scott, A New Zealand...

14.5" x 5". The mesquite body was turned green, dried, then sliced into segments, and the Ironwood accents inserted. Then it was turned to final form.
