Some of you have said that SawStop will be happy. I suspect that they and customers will be unhappy. Just as with the invention of TV or Velcro, no one licensed the technology until the patent expired. So there may be only two choices: High priced saws with SawStop technology or SawStop saws. Others may just exit the business until they can get in cheaply.
