Mesquite End Table
I found this Mesquite stump in the Texas Hill Country. Mated together with a slice off a piece of another stump it made a beautiful end table. I spent a couple of days carving...

Re: AWFS Tool News: Rockler Rolls Out New Crop of Innovations
well, it is good that someone trys to innovate, but I have to agree with daltxguy about the push stick. Same with the bench cookies. I made my own with scrap lumber covered with non-slip drawer liners for pennies, a year before rockler had theirs in the stores. Didn't know I'd "innovated".

after reading this article I decided on a dewalt 12v impact driver. I love it. It's amazingly light weight especially after using dewalt 18v drill/drivers for years. Yet it will drive anything it's asked. It's noisy when the clutch engages but for a woodworker it's fine. If I was installing a deck, I probably still use my 18v tool, cause the noise would drive me crazy on a sustained basis if driving hundreds of screws. But in the shop for a cabinet project, etc, it's awesome.

Great idea. I had done something similiar but hinged the extension to the saw. The problem was that when I dropped it down, it would hit the dust extraction hose so it wouldn't fold down flat against the saw and was putting preassure on the hose fittings. I ended up taking it apart. But your idea moves the hinge to the extension table legs. SMART! I shall rebuild.

Can someone post a picture of this chest? Unless I missed it somewhere, I see no pictures of the completed chest. I'd like to know what I am building?
