Seems like it could be really functional however since there are screens being developed that can do both LCD and E ink modes with the flick of a switch i think the iPad was a little early and they will probably come out with an updated version in less then a 2 years. That being said i think the iPad is great and there is no difference to your eyes between LCD and e ink they are both just light.
