My Name is Mike and i am 25 years old. i discovered this unique craft of woodworking through an intervention that changed my life. At 18 i lost my leg in a boating accident. for years following that accident i struggled with alcoholism and drug addiction. at 22 i dicovered i had a great interest in woodworking. woodworking has givin me the opertunity to express myself in ways that i could not do before. i have been sober now for 4 years and owe all of my recent success to the lord, and my fiance who have stuck by my side through thick and thin. i have now been woodworking for just over 4 years. during that time i have learned so much. woodworking for me started off as hobby. it slowly turned into a part time job and now i am looking at a lifetime career opurtunity. i have set my goals high and plan to embark on this journey that all started when i picked up a piece a wood.

Re: Asian inspired box

i wish i had more phots but that is all i took at the time. the box went to someone as a gift. i might in fact get the box back for a few days to take more photos. i cant tell you how many people have asked me if i can sell them this box. i refuse to because it is the design of another craftsmam. the inside is just square and is lined with micro fiber.
