Looks like a great book. I look forward to reading it, especially the sections on marquetry.
For me, Richard Raffan's books and videos have been, by far, the most valuable instructional and inspirational materials I have studied in learning to turn wood. I look forward to seeing what this book has to offer. Thanks, Richard.
I could really use this.
Great info on bending wood. I would like to have a copy.
Perhaps this book will give me some ideas for the G&G chair I promised I would make for my wife.
I've watched Raffan's DVDs, and they are very informative. I would love to own the book.
Very challenging technique. I would love to have this book. Silas Kopf, a longtime FWW contributor, has a book on marquetry, a related technique, that is amazing.
Though I have used shellac frequently, I have never used the French-polishing method. I look forward to reading the book.
As a beginning carver, I would find these books very helpful.
If this one is as informative as his other books, then we're in for a treat. I'd love to have a copy of the new book by the "Jig Master."
