Hello hima,
posted: 1:41 pm on May 23rdThe joinery on the stretchers is a traditional mortise and tenon, but the joinery on the legs is the zebra wood circles with two small loose tenons on each side. it was a lot of work, but I it achieved the look I was after. the zebra wood "risers" that hold up the top are simply joined with dowels and the top is secured with figure 8's which allow for wood movement.
