This is my take on Greg Klassen's river tables. My wife saw one of his tables online and decided she had to have one. The top is figured hard maple and the legs…
I made an MDF template which I took to a local glass company. They cut and tempered the glass for me. It cost $170, but it was worth it to get it done right.
I use mine to set the angle on my sharpening jig.
Would love to have this book.
Nice work did you make the wall sconce as well?
Thank you for breaking down barriers and allowing a child with more involved neeeds experience an activity that can bring such a great sense of acheivement. I myself have had the pleasure of working with inclusion kids and everytime I was told that the child could not participate in the activity because of there physical needs I found a way to include them. Regardless of the extra effort involved every child should have the opportunity to experience and be involved in any activity they want. There should be more teachers like you willing to go the extra mile. Thank you and congratulations Nathan on a spectacular table.
Thats an interesting modification, but I have never had any issue with my Festool 22 and I've never heard of that problem before. If it becomes a problem for me though I will definately look at your modification more closely.
