As an aspiring Greene & Greene furniture maker, I really admire what you have done. Excellent design and beautiful execution. I hope my own pieces turn out as well.

Truly impressive! Very clever jigs. I suppose that is an advantage of building the same piece over and over, you can really fine tune the process.

I really like your design here. It is a nice interpretation of the Greene and Greene style, without being too strict. Its roots are clear but the piece has some nice new twists on the theme. For example the upward slant on the tops of the legs and the Stickley/prairie-esque slats.

Beautiful wood! And a very nice, clean design.

Oops, I said Pony, I meant to say Colt. Love that little guy, and the base...

I had set up a similar base for my Pony prior to reading this post. While I don't use this set up for "heavy" routing chores, it certainly makes the "light" tasks, for which this router is appropriate, easier. Much greater control and stability.

As mentioned this essentially eliminates tipping and those unsightly "wobbles" in an otherwise nice straight edge. I was fairly disappointed with my results with this tool prior to adding the base.
