very neat SD, but I live in Hobart Tasmania.

Re: We're Giving Away Grooving Planes!

Nuthin` complicated at all--just plane simple

Re: We're Giving Away Grooving Planes!

All of the chisels behind me can be used as replacement blades, because they are metric widths.

Re: We're Giving Away Grooving Planes!

when my wife finds out about these I`ll need another pair!

Re: We're Giving Away Grooving Planes!

these even accept the original Derek Cohen blade angle adjustment and can be used as a scraping plane!

Re: We're Giving Away Grooving Planes!

Now let`s see if Ryobi are interested in a version.

Re: Tombstone Paneled Tool Cabinet

Dear mkarafa, I will try to put this as politely as possible.
PLEASE wait your turn in the ever-lengthening queue for a GOOD Stanley #1.

Re: What do you do while glue dries?

Derek, there is no point in you trying to hide your hyperactivity! We all know about it-admire it and are quite envious of your inexhaustible fountain of energy.

I sympathise with you about your son`s disinterest in the wonders of wood as I am in the same position with my son who turns 24 today. In all other ways we have similar interests but I can`t get thru there.
Wouldn`t do if we were all the same , which is why some of us older and slower ones appreciate all of your work and the care with which you present it to us on sites like this and other forums.

Re: Broken power tool: Junk it or fix it?

If it is a cordless tool battery that has died, or ecen a cheaper cordless tool I have the battery re-built with new cells. Then I can keep using the old tool I know and don`t have to worry about all that extra packaging that comes with a new tool.
