Beautiful work! I love the wood selection, the marquetry, and the curves. Very elegant design. I'd like to see a closer picture if the marquetry. I had recently completed a box for my grand daughter, but after seeing yours I didn't even bother to enter, even though one of my projects finished 2nd last month. Thanks for entering your work.

Truly an amazing piece. I love the design, the choice of woods, the marquetry and inlay, and the carving. This is the obvious winner. Congratulations on a fabulous piece of design and implementation.

Thanks for your comments. I have edited the post to show an open drawer. The sides are flat and angled to fit in the carcass. I typically dovetail both front and back corners of the drawers. A maple guide below and to the outer bottom corner of the sides keep the drawers on track. I had some concern about the drawers initially, but after waxing they glide nicely. Some people who have seen it are concerned that the clothes will slide to the lower corner, but that doesn't seem to be an issue.
By the way, as to style, besides Disney, some people have mentioned Dr Suess and Alice in Wonderland.
