Cutting Board for Swiss Cheese Only!!
A cutting board I made from cherry, maple and mahogany scraps. I started with a larger glue-up but then kept trimming it looking for the design I wanted. Ended up with a Swiss Cheese...
A Jig to Square Large Cabinets
I had trouble squaring the carcass of large cabinets, such as a pantry. I didn't have clamps long enough to force the carcass into a square. Also, I couldn't install the back while the...

Thank you Cy for a nice contribution. Like GEide, my spice jars are of all different sizes and shapes. Also, perhaps a lip in front would prevent the jars from tipping out of the rack if you bump it.

Thank you for the feedback. I also like the suggestion of removing the corner to prevent gluing the fixture to the cabinet. This, I think, also helps in reducing the contact surface area and providing a better fit. You can increase the size of the through hole to allow for clamps to be used instead of screws, but this will prevent you from leaving the jig in-place while applying the back or face frame. But you can do this on the face frame side while installing the back and vice versa, but I find that my cases need to be squared on each side I am working on; maybe it is my shoddy workmanship or the cheap plywood I buy :-( Thanks, ATOMA

This is more like alcohol pre-prohibition, rather than heroin brought to the US in the 1700's!! I have never seen such beautiful ivory and cow horn. I am humbled and express my deepest admiration. I made my 17 year old son see the video to know that there truly are talented people out there. I can hardly see what your next project will be.

Now everybody is an expert. If you know of another product that is available to consumers and this inexpensive, then put a reference in your note. For one, Blum is very expensive and their Web site does not list a soft closure units. If you are smarter than the rest of us and know so much, share the information with us. Thanks.

Yes, please. I've been considering adding soft close units to my existing kitchen cabinets because I am tired of the ever-so-annoying cabinet door and drawer slamming. Let us know what you think. Will they fit drawers as well? Thanks, ATOMA
