suede leather. I glues it on with contact cement from a bottle with a brush. I tried the spray but it was a disaster.

Are you planning to make another? I really like the design but there are 2 things that stand out to me. 1. The pole in the middle. Maybe use 4 spirals. 2. The base spiral seems to end at the top instead of continuing into the top.

Again, wonderful work, just some thoughts that came to mind.

Would you be willing to share your plans? I am wrestling with bunk bed plans right now as my 2 little boys will need to sleep in the same room soon.

If you cannot provide the plans, what is the distance between the head room between the beds? My wife won't let me start anything until she is happy with the spacing.

I wonder if you could use these to connect bedrails to legs. Would it be strong enough? Perhaps someone needs to test the shear strength of these things.
