I love my hand tools, and find myself turning to them more and more often. I particularly like how clean the shop is after choosing a hand tool over a power tool.

Your friends must have been overwhelmed when they received this gift; it's certainly better than a toaster! You can be darn sure they won't be regifting it ever.

Did you put glides on the feet to protect the bottom of the legs and the floors?

It really is a nice piece.
