Ditto to most of the previous comments :).

Re: UPDATE: Read a review of Wooden Boxes by the giveaway winner

I've admired Dennis's work for a long time. Would be great to have this book in my collection.

Re: UPDATE: Mortise and Tenon Joinery by Hendrik Varju

Almost all my furniture projects include some M&T joinery, with the mortises typically done with a router and jig. Always looking for more efficient ways to work, so maybe this DVD will be of help.

Re: Breadboard Joinery for the Table Top

Oops, forgot that's the purpose of elongating the peg holes in the tenons. Ignore my previous question.

Re: Breadboard Joinery for the Table Top

I'm in the process of making some BB end tables. Shouldn't the outer mortises be a little wider than the tenons to allow for movement?

Re: UPDATE: In the Greene & Greene Style: Projects and Details for the Woodworker by Darrell Peart

I've always admired Darrell's talent and skills, so this book would be appreciated.

Re: UPDATE: Rough Cut - Woodworking with Tommy Mac by Tommy MacDonald and Laurie Donnelly

I have always been impressed by Tommy's ability to pack so much info into a 30 minute show.

Re: My first cutting boards

That Bocote really sets it off; looks great. Was the finish mineral spirits or mineral oil? (Mineral oil is what most people use.)

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Guitar Lessons by Bob Taylor

Always wanted to build a guitar; please count me in.

Re: UPDDATE: Shop Improvements: Outstanding ideas from the world's finest woodworkers from Fine Woodworking magazine

Doing major upgrades to my shop now, so this book would be very helpful.

Re: Ken's Workshop

Having just installed a 3Hp cyclone dust collector system, I appreciate how you put yours outside in a separate area... these things are loud...

May you have many days of pleasure in your well organized shop. Kudos.

Re: UPDATE: Back to Basics: Fundamentals of Sharpening from Fox Chapel Publishing

will it help with chisels used to open paint cans?

Re: Free Chapter Download: Vacuum Press Basics

Same problem for me.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Windsor Chairmaking by James Mursell

Well, since my last name is Windsor, I should build at least one Windsor chair in my life.

Re: Morris Chair #1

Very nice. Did you make the leather cushions? (The price of those alone would be around $400 in a custom upholstery shop.)

Re: Pattern Making - Unfolding A 3D Shape to Make A Template

Excellent! Thank you Dave.

Re: Creating Templates for a Complex Shape

Hi Dave,

Do you know how to "unroll" a profile? For example, I have a 2" pipe meeting a 3" pipe at a 45 degree angle. I would like to make a paper cutting template that I could wrap around the 2" pipe.
