I started woodworking in the 7th grade, and continued through 4 years of high school. Since then, it has been off and on as I was career military, and often built small projects in a carport or shed if I had one. Tools were hand tools plus a router. I still have my chisels, brace and bits, and Dunlop plane that I received as gifts when I was 8 or 9 years old. They are still in use today in my garage woodshop that I have set up now that I am retired.
