I started woodworking in the 7th grade, and continued through 4 years of high school. Since then, it has been off and on as I was career military, and often built small projects in a carport or shed if I had one. Tools were hand tools plus a router. I still have my chisels, brace and bits, and Dunlop plane that I received as gifts when I was 8 or 9 years old. They are still in use today in my garage woodshop that I have set up now that I am retired.

Re: Man Wins Big Money in Tablesaw Lawsuit

Unbelievable!! At age 65, I have been using power tools since the 7th grade. This is why stuff is so expensive. Nobody will take responsibility for their own studidity. Safety, safety, and more safety. It is our responsibility to insure that we work with our brain as well as our hands.
