Re: Shaker Rocking Chair

Question:
I'm planing to make turning blanks for a shaker rocker.
I'm using Ash and plan on gluing up to pcs (2'square)
on the flat to give me enough for a turning. I once did the same thing with 5 pcs glued together and almost lost my head when it came apart on the lath doing a million mph. I was lucky.
I'm kind of gun shy now and wonder if any one thinks this two pc is a bad idea.
