Shame on Woodcraft for making direct molds from the Lie-Nielsen product. At least when LN make their products, they do not steal shapes, rather recreate and enhance based on performance issues. Yes, their planes are a bit expensive, but with that you get quality, full customer support and a product you know will last beyond your grandsons, grandsons life times. Veritas, on the other hand, is a true competitor since their product has originality and quality. Go ahead buy that Chinese crap. The stuff with steel that has air pockets in it. The stuff that has threaded items that do not match SAE, metric or any other standard known to man. The stuff that's made by a country that never learned from our mistakes and doesn't give a rats ass about their people they are killing from all the pollution they have created. All people want is a lot of stuff that's cheap. Wow, how far we've advanced.
