Designed to last a lifetime.  This should be a toolbox that my son will use as he grows into an adult woodworker.  Teaching woodworking with this project allows for good use of hand tools...

Just when I thought that one of my long time favorite magazines had fallen to a new low spot in the group of other woodworking magazines, this clip just made me shake my head even more so.

I know they are trying to be funny, but Fine Woodworking used to be a class act. Now they have fallen below quite a few magazines (IMHO). Will this ever get any better? What do you think?

I used to save every issue and keep them in order. I'm not interested any more. Sorry, this joke is on you.

The NEW NORM? Well, a tough act to follow but I'll check it out. Best of luck to you. DAVID MARKS, by the way, is now doing a series of short videos for the web. Be sure to check out his web site and follow the links to some really good stuff. Some of his new work is beyond amazing!
I'm a fan of education and I love the videos that Fine Woodworking is doing.

I'm sorry, but this magazine seems to have declined in quality of presentation. This "competition" feels like it's going to be about a comparison of two distinctly different processes. One is not better than the other and speed is not to be considered in the words "Fine Woodworking".
