The bigger bands were thicker than the smaller boxes. The 14-20 were about 1/8 inch for me. We ordered the bands from John Wilson.

Re: 19 Shaker Boxes
My Dad, Mom, and two sister-in-laws took John Wilson's shaker box class in Charlotte, Michigan in 2002. We loved making the boxes. Ever since we have gathered at my mom and dad's house each March to try to make some different boxes. My dad is good at making jigs. One year we made small ones. This year was 14-20. The box makers were my 3 neices, sister, 2 sister-in-laws, mom and dad this year.
