I operate a small custom furniture studio in Sandy Oregon. My commissions come primarily from fiends and contacts (i.e. I am building a Greene and Greene desk for my Optometrist). My design preferences are Stickley, Limbert, Greene & Greene, and Shaker. I prefer to use local woods, especially Red Alder. I manage a small (5 acre) woodlot of Red Alder and Douglas Fir. I am a member of the Guild of Oregon Woodworkers.
My day job (for the next 5 years) is as the Chief Economist at Kronos, Inc., where I primarily analyze Labor Economics.
