Re: Brad Smith: Story of a Stool
WOW! Great slide show. Beautiful shop, ingenious jigs, envious collection of old machinery and a very nice finished product. I love how he even uses his scrap for packing. What a sharp guy! Makes my own shop feel a little inefficient. Thank you.

It saddens me greatly to hear the news of Sam's passing. What a kind and gental soul. I met Sam and Freda 24 years ago and can't thank them enough for their friendship, marketing knowledge and taking me under their wings. They taught me so much about life, attitude, persistance and most of all: "Please Sit". You will truely be missed, my friend.

GEide : I work almost exclusively with reclaimed woods now . The Port Orford Cedar in this chair came from a hot tub . I have some beautiful reclaimed Redwood that came from Jeff at sawemup.com , which I have build several pieces from . Some of the most incredible Redwood I've ever worked with . I am always on the lookout for old buildings and other projects that are being deconstructed . Thanks for your comment .
