Re: Stephen Colbert Takes the Sizzle Out of SawStop

This sawstop issue is a prime example of the kind of virus infecting our country. For every accident, misstep, or hardship...some one else is to blame and should pay! I went to a sawstop "presentation" at my local Woodcraft store and was blown away by the propaganda and lies - a fingerless woodworker led the presentation! If we as woodworkers do not take a stand, we will be forced to pay more, be inconvienenced, and technologies that we may or may not want will be forced down our throats! I am a physician who knows all too well the impact of "someone else is to blame...smoking, fast foods, asbestos, etc". Gass is an attorney out to make his fortune...at yours and mine expense. Take a stand...tell your woodcraft store owners (woodcraft is supporting the sawstop iniative) that you will not support this kind of kidnapping.

Re: CPSC Drafting New Tablesaw Regulations

I know where this is going.........as a physician, it is this type of government meddling and legal profiteering that have created the enormous health care costs in America! Please, please tell everyone you know that enough is enough!

Re: More Details on the Carlos Osorio Tablesaw Lawsuit

As a woodworker and a physician....I can believe this....it happens everyday. Please tell your government representatives that you demand tort reform, without it, every hard working, honest, responsible American pays for this madness!

Re: How Not to Drive Your Wife Crazy: Mockup Before Milling

My prefered tool for "will it look good" is Photoshop (not cad programs). Obviously, my photography interests have influenced me, but with a little work, you can in many cases "build" the object with photos and "see" the results, especially how it relates to other items around it. While it certainly doesnt give any specs, I find it gives a much better feel for whether something will look good than line drawings and CADS. Just my take.
