Beginner. Starting with simple hobbist power tools.

At this stage just starting with simple furniture for the workshop itself; mostly using basic powertools.

If all goes well, I will move up to household shelves, cabinets, tables and chairs for personal use and/or as gifts to family members; hopefully I would have acquiring some experience and comfort using handheld woodworking tools by then.

Looks like the perfect reference for newbies to woodworking and the three volumes mean there are enough projects to choose from and the last me a long time.

I still prefer a good hardcopy book to electronic-books.

Thanks for offering a chance to get these.

Re: UPDATE: Wooden Boxes, by Doug Stowe and Strother Purdy

Just starting and boxes sounds like a great place to start. As I gain in proficiency hopefully I can move on to the more challenging designs. Looking forward to trying.
