You get what you pay for. Cedar will probably hold longer than Pine but for this purpose it wasn’t worthwhile. No sealant or other isolator used between the wood and the soil except for paint of course.

posted: 5:22 pm on May 20thThe legs are made of iron bars welded as a frame with bolts hanging from the top to penetrate the wood and lock it with a nut within the wood thickness.
