Would like to see some articles on same technique executed with different kinds of woods (hard v. soft, oily v. not, brittle v. not, irregular v. straight grain, etc.). Also more articles showcasing design styles, all of them, not just a couple of favored ones.

I didn't even realize decorative spoons were a studied form. I just thought carving a spoon was one of the first projects a carver usually took on. I'm sure this would be an interesting read.

Furniture restoration is a great topic. It would be nice to also see more on tool restoration, musical instrument restoration, and architectural woodwork restoration.
