Re: Centering the Festool Domino on Imperial Based Materials

I vote for the change to metric. Sometimes I just use it because it is soooo much easier to do the math. Just recently, measuring for Blum drawer slides, it was easier to just go with their instructions and go with millimeters. Just make sure you buy rulers that also have metric.

Re: WORKBENCH Not So Big /Matt's Monster hybrid

Great bench! I like the drawer layout. I built a small version of Matt's monster bench so it is similar in size. I have been thinking about incorporating the drawers as well. I'm happy to see it works out!

Great fix. Hope you don't give up on hand cutting out the waste. You have so much more control by hand. Just have to be careful to orient the chisel across the grain.

Re: Stanley/LN Totes for Veritas Bevel-Up Bench Planes

Looks interesting. I am a female and I have small hands. I just bought a Veritas BU joiner which I really like, except it is painful to use after a while. I have begun trying to push more with a forward pressure instead of the usual downward pressure. It is better, but I still think the handle is too large for my hand. How does your son like the smaller tote? Are you selling these?
