Well, I grew up in Northern Saskatchewan roaming the wilderness as most of us do (maybe not everyone but in my case it was, everyone I knew that is.) I was raised in a native village with a population of less than a 100 people. Among that many people I never quite figured out how they didn't catch that I was a Fox, maybe it was my cuddly fur or my puppy look but they seemed to accept me just fine.
I started getting interested in building furniture when I was in high school, but with a limited amount of tools and resources it was hard ( we didn't have much in the village I grew up) so I had eventually moved to the city to find work and pursue a career in woodworking.
It is tough being a Fox in the city! I didn't know what I was doing, it was a huge culture shock!!! I had No friends, I had No family, it was just Me. I stayed with some people I didn't really know at the time, they were relatives of some friends of mine from back home ( up north we call it) but still it was quite lonely.
After a time struggling (aka dirt broke wondering the streets looking for a job and just BARELY making rent payments plus ready to join the army because I had give up on building furniture) I finally got a stable job in carpentry ( I have had jobs before but they didn't work out) The carpentry job eventually renewed my hopes in building one of a kind pieces of furniture. People have told me that I couldn't make a career of building furniture and you won't get rich ( but getting rich is not my first priority) people have done it ( made furniture that is) and I know some. I'm still at the beginning stages of my career and I will keep learning as I go, but so far its been a ride.
Though this story has absolutely nothing do with my tail, I hope you have enjoyed it, this is just a short version maybe I'll write a book some day..... or maybe not.

Looks good Huntley! nice one. Did you manage to epoxy the handles on? or did you have to buy special ones? You probably don't remember me, this is maurice, you were the foreman at Ave. N building for awhile when I worked there, your cabinets turned good.
