posted: 3:52 pm on March 18thI consider myself as an intermediate woodworker and would
recommend this book to somebody that wants to try
woodworking but doesnt want to spend a lot of money on
tools. It explains what hand tools you need and makes
use of nails .The kitchen dresser is held together with
galvanized nails and glue.It has an interesting frieze
design around the faceframe which could be a challenge.
A book for beginners.

Video helps but in the book you tell us first to make the top and bottom into components by selecting the parts with the box method .I cannot seem to select just the top parts or just the bottom parts to make them components because they overlap the sides.
posted: 2:29 pm on November 2ndI ended up moving the sides away from the top and bottom so i could select them to make components. What did i do wrong?
Thanks for any help.

posted: 7:16 pm on September 26thRe: Pat Murrin: How I Got Started in Woodworking
Hello Patrick , I got started in woodworking when i was 25 years old and needed a 24" by 36" picture frame for a poster of my motorcycle .
posted: 2:34 pm on September 15thLiving in an appartment upstairs with no tools yet. So i bought a wooden miter box , a backsaw and some molding to build the frame .From then on i couldn't get enough woodworking. 24 years later i now have a fully equiped shop and have been building everything from picture frames to rocking chair to Queen Ann coffee tables. With me it's just a hobbie , i dont make money but get alot of pleasure from woodworking. I wish you all the best in your career .
