My favorite type of wood is Macassar Ebony however my favorite affordable wood species is black walnut.

Tom,

Your not the first person to tell me that this table looks similar to a quilt. When I originally designed the table I did not intend for it to resemble a quilt, but that is okay.

Thank you very much for the compliments on my end grain table. I am not familiar with George Morrisons work, I will certainly check it out though.
