Dream Shop
My shop would be 30' X 40" with 10' ceilings, with a finishing room with filtration. Upper cabinets would be built to hold tools, and supplies (like clamps, you can never have too many)

Whenever I need to make one, I use the fence to line up one edge of the base with the bar in the miter slot with couple of pieces of double stick tape. lift it off and then screw them in, it work really good for me (as long as your fence is square to the blade).

I use one that's almost like this except mine has cleats to capture the outside of the case, and I've been using a pipe clamp.
